The City of Raymond is in the process of updating its Shoreline Master Program (SMP).  The Washington State Department of Ecology (ECY) has provided the City a grant to fund the State of Washington's ongoing efforts to protect and enhance the water quality of the lakes, streams, and rivers and their associated wetlands deemed as waters of statewide significance.  The City has contracted the services of a Professional Planner and Consulting Company to assist with the development and adoption of an updated plan that will meet the States's standards for water quality safety, while providing for the development and growth of new industry and business in the City of Raymond.
